If you’re thinking of buying a breadmaker, but are worried about how hard it is to use, today I show you how to use the Panasonic SD2501-WXC to make a delicious loaf of fresh bread.
It takes less time than you’d think to get a loaf of bread on and less than 2 hours to bake. I’m making a “small” loaf today.
Let’s get started!
Grab your stuff
Get all the things you’ll need.
Grab the pan, mearing spoon and cup and the paddle…
Yeast, Yeast, Yeast!
Make sure you put the paddle in the pan, then carefully measure 1 teaspoon of easy bake yeast..
and add that to the pan…
Now for some Flour
400g of flour to be exact. Weigh it exactly!! – and add it to the pan…
If you’re after a dead accurate set of scales, it looks like you can’t go wrong with these Salter Slim Line Design Scales.
Sugar and Salt
Add 1 teaspoon of Salt
Add 1 teaspoon of Sugar
Add 15g of butter – about a spoonful
Add 280ml of water. Measure accurately..
… and pour gently into the pan.
Into the Breadmaker we go
Take the pan and place it into the breadmaker, making sure the pan locks in place.
Turn on the breadmaker.
Select Progam 2 for a rapid bake loaf..
Select M for a 400g loaf
If you want to start the timer, you can do that using the up and down arrows and if you want a darker or lighter crust, use the Crust button.
Otherwise, press to “start” to….start…..
That’s it! Sit back and wait 1h55 mins and your bread will be ready.
Are we there yet?
Oh yes, yes we are!
Take the bread out and enjoy!
and that’s all there is to it! It took me about 5 mins to get the ingredients into the breadmaker – much less time than it took to write these instructions.
